About Us

Cynthia and Hunter

Our story

Two Americans.
One home across the ocean.

There’s a specific moment, every time the plane starts its descent into Palermo, when Hunter and I stop being two Americans on a trip — and simply become two people coming home.

Sicily has never been just another place to discover for us. There’s a bond with this land that we’ve carried inside us since before we truly knew it, and it has only grown stronger over the years, trip after trip, until it started to feel less like a vacation and more like a return.

From there, we never stopped coming back. And the more we returned, the more Sicily stopped being a trip and simply became home — our second home, the one across the ocean. Hunter, who has always sung (he’s a crooner, in the Sinatra tradition), started performing here too, and his evenings gave us real friendships over the years.

Take us with you next time” — after hearing that once too often, we realized what we experienced here didn’t exist in any other trip out there. So we decided to build it ourselves, for anyone who wants to live Sicily from the inside instead of watching it from the outside.

Why "Live Like a Sicilian"

"Live Like a Sicilian" was never a slogan.

Where it came from

It's something we said to each other, long before we ever thought of building a company. It was exactly what was happening to us every time we came back.

What it actually means

We weren't visiting Sicily anymore. We were living it — on its own time, with its people, at its table. That's the experience we decided to share.

What we're offering you

Not a week rushing from monument to monument. Ten days of living exactly how we live here: unhurried, surrounded by the right people, part of something — not a spectator of it.
