Alcamo

If Palermo is the vibrant and chaotic heart of Sicily, Alcamo is its most intimate breath.

It is the closest town to our villa, and it’s here that you’ll truly understand what it means to experience the slow rhythm of an authentic Sicilian village. The historic center unfolds through a maze of narrow streets, where every corner tells a story — an ancient church, a flower-filled balcony, the scent of freshly baked bread drifting through the air.

Alcamo has a surprising number of churches for a town of its size, and if your visit coincides with a local festival, you’ll find yourself immersed in one of those authentic village celebrations made of processions, music, and long outdoor tables filled with food — the kind of moments that travel books can never truly capture. Here, you won’t be tourists. You’ll be guests in our home.

We love stopping here for pizza, and yes, the pizza they make here is truly as unique as they say.
